Recruitment/ Retention Supplement.
For Full and Part-Time Instructional Employees.
Starting in the 2025-2026 Academic year!


Beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year, routine full-time and part-time instructional workers will get an annual income supplement of no less than $4,500.00, in accordance with conditions stated in the SJEA Memorandum of Understanding.


The funds scheduled for the educational system will be paid to workers within the instructional bargaining unit in referendum supplements as follows:


- Years 0-5: $4,500 (Flat Rate).

- Years 6-10: $5,172.00.

- Years 11-15: $6,206.00.

- Years: 16-20: $7,241.00.

- Years 21+: $8,275.00.


- Regular full-time workers as specified by Article 1 (E) shall get the full negotiated quantity.

- Regular part-time staff members will get half of the full-time employee amount.

- Employees holding "Part-time As Needed" positions are not qualified for this supplement.

- The income supplement will be paid in installations within the employee's frequently set up paycheck during the following academic year: 2025-2026, 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029.

For Full and Part-Time Support Employees.
Starting in the 2025-2026 Academic year!


Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, routine full-time and part-time Administrative, Managerial & Confidential staff members will receive an annual wage supplement as follows:


- Full-Time: $6,000 (Flat Rate).

- Part-Time: $3,000 (Flat Rate).


Supplement terms include the following:


- Regular full-time employees are specified as working 25 hours per week or greater and will receive the complete supplement amount.

- Regular part-time staff members are defined as working less than 25 hours each week and shall receive half of the full-time supplement quantity.

- Employees holding Part-time As Needed positions are not qualified for this supplement.

- The income supplement will be paid in installations within the worker's regularly arranged paycheck during the list below school years: 2025-2026, 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029.

Interview Process


- Once a vacancy has actually closed, the hiring manager will receive a list of qualified applicants.

- Review your job status on the Home Page of the application.

- Applications are examined by the school/department hiring manager. If chosen for an interview the hiring supervisor will call you straight by phone or email.

- Pre-Employment (onboarding) might differ depending on the position for which you have been hired.

- The school/department employing manger will provide you with a start date.


Pre-Employment


- The pre-employment procedure begins with the hiring manager submitting a recommendation for hire request to Human Resources.
